Cooking cue
Cook eggs just until set so they stay tender instead of rubbery.
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F, line a cookie sheet with parchment, and combine the melted butter with crushed garlic, then set aside.
- 2. Microwave the mozzarella and cream cheese for 1 minute, stir, microwave for 30 seconds, stir again, then microwave for 30 more seconds until uniformly melted and smooth.
- 3. Mix the egg and dry ingredients (coconut flour, almond flour, flaxseed, and baking powder) into the melted cheese, then knead by hand on wax paper or process with a dough blade until fully incorporated.
- 4. Press the dough into a large rectangle on parchment (wet hands help), cut into 8 long strips, then cut each strip into 3 smaller strips to create 24 total strips.
- 5. Braid sets of 3 strips together, tucking the ends under, and arrange 8 braided breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, then brush with half the garlic butter and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cook eggs just until set so they stay tender instead of rubbery.
- 6. Bake for 15 minutes, brush with the remaining garlic butter, and bake for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown, then serve warm.
