Cooking cue
Cook eggs just until set so they stay tender instead of rubbery.
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F with the rack in the middle position and spray a 9-10 inch quiche plate with baking spray.
- 2. Cook and crumble the bacon, steam the broccoli florets until crisp-tender, and finely dice the onions.
- 3. Layer the ingredients in the quiche plate starting with a quarter of the cheese, then a third each of broccoli, onion, and bacon; repeat the layers, ending with the remaining cheese on top.
- 4. Beat the eggs, heavy cream, almond milk, salt, and white pepper in a medium bowl with a hand mixer until frothy, then gently pour over the layered ingredients.
- Cook eggs just until set so they stay tender instead of rubbery.
- 5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the center is just set and the top is browned, then serve warm or at room temperature.
