- 1 tsp garlic salt
- ¼ cup crumbled bacon
- 3 large white mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 small onion (very thinly sliced)
- 8 oz shredded cheddar

Cook until the thickest piece reaches 165F and the juices run clear.
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and spray a casserole dish with cooking spray.
- 2. Place the ground turkey in the dish, mix in the garlic salt, and press into an even layer.
- 3. Layer the bacon crumbles, sliced mushrooms, and thinly sliced onions on top of the turkey.
- 4. Bake on the top rack for 15 minutes, then carefully drain the cooking liquid and top with shredded cheddar.
- Cook until the thickest piece reaches 165F and the juices run clear.
- 5. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is melted; serve with salad or green vegetables.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning at the end, then serve while everything is hot or freshly chilled.
