- ½ cup low carb sugar substitute
- ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoon apple extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Set a large skillet or saute pan over medium to medium-high heat and keep the ingredients close so the cooking stays fast and even.
- 1. Combine the chopped jicama, butter, sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a pan.
- 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the jicama pieces have softened.
- 3. Remove from heat and stir in the apple extract and vanilla extract.
- 4. Serve warm, or refrigerate for up to one week or freeze for several months.
