- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 cup unsweetened ketchup
- ½ cup water
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown Swerve
- 2 teaspoons natural maple flavoring
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon pepper

- Set a large skillet or saute pan over medium to medium-high heat and keep the ingredients close so the cooking stays fast and even.
- 1. Whisk together the unsweetened ketchup, water, apple cider vinegar, brown Swerve, maple flavoring, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl and set aside.
- 2. Heat the avocado oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- 3. Add the cocktail smokies and sear for 2-3 minutes until they begin to brown.
- 4. Pour the prepared sauce into the pan, reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer, and cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning at the end, then serve while everything is hot or freshly chilled.
