Cooking cue
Cook fish until it flakes easily and reaches about 125F to 130F in the thickest part.
- 1. Preheat your oven to the broil setting (typically 500°F or 260°C).
- 2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- 3. Whisk together the keto honey, coconut aminos, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and ground ginger in a large bowl.
- 4. Add the salmon to the bowl, turn to coat in the glaze, and marinate for at least 10 minutes or up to 1 hour, turning once more before cooking.
- 5. Arrange the salmon in a large baking dish with space between fillets and brush any remaining glaze over the tops.
- 6. Broil about 6 inches from the heating element for 10-12 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 135-140°F (57-60°C).
- Taste and adjust the seasoning at the end, then serve while everything is hot or freshly chilled.
