- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 jalapeno pepper (minced)
- ½ sweet onion (diced)
- 4 ounce can diced green chiles
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- Avocado (sour cream, cilantro, for topping)

Cook until the thickest piece reaches 165F and the juices run clear.
- 1. Place chicken breasts, diced bell pepper, minced jalapeno, diced onion, canned green chiles, minced garlic, cumin, and chicken broth in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- 2. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours until chicken shreds easily with a fork, then shred the chicken in the pot.
- 3. Stir in the softened cream cheese and heavy cream, mixing thoroughly until the cream cheese is completely melted and incorporated.
- 4. Cover again and continue cooking on high for 30 minutes.
- Cook until the thickest piece reaches 165F and the juices run clear.
- 5. Stir well and serve topped with avocado, sour cream, and cilantro as desired.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning at the end, then serve while everything is hot or freshly chilled.
